Shape Swap
Shape Swap is a match puzzle built from plain geometry: circles, squares, triangles, diamonds, hexagons and crosses on a 7 by 7 board. Swap two neighbours to line up three or more of the same shape, and everything above drops down to fill the gap. Each level asks you to collect a set number of certain shapes within a limited number of moves, so a good swap is the one that serves the goal, not just the first match you spot.
How to play
- Swipe a shape toward a neighbour, or tap one shape and then the other, to swap them. A swap that makes no match slides back and costs nothing.
- Collect the shapes shown at the top before the moves run out.
- Match 4 in a line to make a prism, which clears its whole row or column when it goes off. Match 5, or an L or T, for a prism that clears both.
- Swap a prism with any neighbour to fire it straight away.
- Cascades fill the charge bar. When it is full, tap it to pulse away every shape of the kind you need most, without spending a move.
Tips
Work near the bottom of the board when you can, because every match there shifts the columns above it and gives cascades a chance to start. Keep a prism for the moment you need many shapes at once, and look for swaps that line up a row of your goal shape under it. If no swap is possible the board reshuffles for free.
