Glow Trail
Glow Trail is an arcade game about drawing loops. You steer a glowing head that never stops moving, with a light trail of fixed length behind it. Crossing your own trail is the whole idea: it closes a loop and catches every spark inside. The catch is that bigger loops need more room, and the arena keeps getting busier.
How to play
- Hold the left half of the screen to turn left and the right half to turn right. On a keyboard use the arrow keys or A and D.
- Cross your own trail to close a loop. Every spark inside it is caught.
- Bigger loops multiply your score, and gold sparks are worth three times as much.
- The energy bar drains all the time. Catching sparks refills it, and the run ends if it empties.
- Hitting a wall or a red drifter ends the run. A drifter touching your trail cuts it.
- Trap a drifter inside a loop to destroy it for a large bonus.
- Loops closed in quick succession build a chain that multiplies your score.
- A new wave starts every 20 seconds, and a surge of gold sparks arrives every minute.
Tips
Holding one direction draws the smallest possible loop, which is safe but pays little. Run straight for a moment first, then turn, and the same trail will wrap around far more of the arena. Keep away from the walls when you start a turn, because the head swings wide. Empty loops pay nothing, so aim for clusters.
